North Education Center provides unique and exciting opportunities for students. If your student attends our school, they may be able to participate in some of the unique opportunities we share below.
Art
NEC has an art classroom with a kiln that allows students to participate in drawing, painting, and ceramics.
Makerspace
NEC offers a space for students to engage in inquiry-based learning opportunities.
Culinary Arts
NEC has a full-service culinary lab for students to learn basic independent living cooking skills.
Physical Education/DAPE
Developmental adapted physical education (DAPE) is specialized instruction to allow for safe and successful gross motor participation in the physical education or special education setting for those students who need mental, motor, cognitive, and physical fitness motor skills.
