During school-age years, proper nutrition can reinforce lifelong eating habits that contribute to a student’s overall well-being. This can help them grow and learn to their fullest potential and then go on to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Intermediate District 287 provides a healthy breakfast and lunch to students each day, and meals are free for all students this school year.

Although meals are free, we ask that you still complete an Application for Educational Benefits as it may qualify you for other benefits, and our school is eligible to receive additional state and federal funds based on the number and/or percentage of students enrolled who reside in households that meet established federal income guidelines. The funds are used to provide reading, math, and instructional specialists to support your students. Please register for an account and complete an online application at https://family.schoolcafe.com/ or complete a paper application at the form links below and submit it to your student’s school.

A la carte items are available for sale during meals. If your student would like to purchase a la carte items, please make online payments into your student(s) meal account at https://family.schoolcafe.com/ or send a check to the school to have it deposited into their account. We are unable to accept cash at this time.
