Unique Opportunities

Student Leadership - Students in Action (at SECA)
Students develop their leadership skills and engage in social justice, student leaders, and projects that support the greater good.

Student Council
Students develop their leadership skills in areas such as planning school activities, advocacy for student interests, and bringing student voice to decision-making.

Coffee Shop
Common Grounds is a coffee shop right inside our commons and cafeteria area. Students learn how to prepare drinks and manage key aspects of the business like money and customer service.

Unrestricted Interest
Poetry and music residencies from local professional artists

Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA)
Students and staff meet weekly to plan events and activities to help create a more LGBTQ inclusive school

School Events
Art fair, play, variety show, family resource fair

Sheridan Project (Fresh Food)
A food truck delivers fresh fruits and vegetables weekly to anyone who wishes to be part of the food program.
