Intermediate District 287 serves Member District high school 11th and 12th grade students, by offering Hennepin Technical Pathways courses at Hennepin Technical College (HTC) at both the Brooklyn Park Campus (BPC) and the Eden Prairie Campus (EPC.)

These career courses are designed to match your level of career readiness by focusing on skill development experiences, career awareness, and decision making that can lead to a college certificate, diploma, or degree.

Some sections of course offerings are designed to be Math Enhanced Courses, embedding more academic credit earning within the Career Tech curriculum.

Some course sections are customized at the request of individual school districts, offering tailored career education for a specific population of students.

Some course sections are offered on-site at member school districts, such as the Construction Cohort offered at Hopkins High school.

Courses taken through Intermediate District 287 at HTC are offered as part of the high school elective curriculum. You can attend classes during the regular school day or take evening classes.

C-Train: In addition to campus based programs, Intermediate District 287 offers C-Train.
C-Train is designed to provide students with opportunities to earn high school credit, develop career skills leading to industry recognized certificates and transition to post-secondary education. This program is offered at our South Education Center site only.
