Assistive Technology Training and Information Network
ATTAIN Tech Lab
ATTAIN Tech Lab is a teaching Lab where students with disabilities receive training in computer applications that can be used for vocational purposes. Skills are taught through actual job requests coming in from teachers and through the community. Students are transition age (14 and up) .
Type of Projects:
- Data Digital Scanning of Documents
- Document Management & Conversions
- Multi-Media: PowerPoint and iMovie
- Desktop Publishing: Banners, Posters, Charts, Calendars
- Curriculum: Social Emotional Charts, ASD Charts, and Communication Boards
Production Center
The Production Center is a work environment where students with disabilities do the hands on work that provides the completion of many of the Technology Lab's Projects as well as work from the District Service Center and the community.
Type of Projects:
- Die Cutting (we have a book of samples)
- Spiral Binding
- Cutting of Laminate
- Collating, Organizing, and Filing
- Notebook and In-service Material Assembly
- Mailings
- Document Preparation
- DVD/CD Duplication
