Virtual Engagement Session
Tuesday, September 21, 2021, 4-4:45 p.m,
Live closed captioning provided

A diverse group of District 287 facilitators will partner with our SCHOOL EXEC CONNECT team to engage the unique stakeholders that make up our diverse school district community.

To ensure that we gather as many diverse perspectives as possible, we will have affinity spaces available for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC community, and people who speak Spanish and Somali. Live closed captioning will be provided in public virtual meetings, as well as a live sign language interpreter upon request. Please email if you wish to request an ASL interpreter, Somali interpreter, Spanish interpreter or have any other needs.

Our stakeholders will help to determine the strengths, challenges, and goals to achieve in our Intermediate School District and the characteristics or skills they would like to see in the new superintendent. Using stakeholder feedback, we will develop a profile of the desired skills and characteristics in the next superintendent.

More information about engagement sessions for students and staff will be shared once school starts.
