Transportation for District 287 students is contracted through the student’s home school district. Please contact your home school district’s transportation department for transportation questions and needs.

Bus Ride to Success Program

In alignment with District 287's Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) goals, we offer a "Bus Ride to Success" program. Students have the opportunity to be recognized by bus drivers with a special ticket when they have exhibited safe, respectful, or responsible behaviors on the bus. Students turn success tickets into school staff who then honor students.

All buses transporting students for mid-day routes display the new Bus Ride to Success Expectations as a visual reminder of bus safety rules.

It is important that students, parents/guardians, and staff understand that the school bus is an extension of the classroom. This program helps students understand the importance of safety on the bus as well as in the classroom.
