Equity & Inclusion Department

The Equity and Inclusion Department provides and advances life essential and enriching opportunities and resources to students, families and, staff with intention to close present and persistent disparities in access and opportunity. The department supports the following divisions, initiatives, and programs:

Bright Futures Conference

Bright Futures is a half day conference for high school and transition students.

Diploma On!

Diploma On is a service coordination program for students who experience barriers to continuing in their high school education.

Family Engagement

Families/caregivers are empowered through collaborative partnerships and resources to support students in reaching their academic and social-emotional goals.

Full Service Community Schools

The [full-service] community schools strategy transforms a school into a place where educators, local community members, families, and students work together to strengthen conditions for student learning and healthy development.

Indigenous Education

The intent of American Indian Education is to provide American Indian students with positive educational opportunities, and to assure that American Indian students will reach their full potential within their school communities through meaningful, equitable, and targeted educational experiences that affirms and values their unique cultural identities.
