Congratulations to Sophia Chabin for winning the Above and Beyond Award for Itinerant Services.  She was nominated in the Evidence-Based Instruction category by her colleagues. Sophie is Intermediate District 287's only Orientation and Mobility Instructor. Serving all of our sites and member districts, Sophia finds ways to help her students find independence in their travel skills using best practice and new tools. While supporting our students, Sophia also mentors new staff on the BVI team.
