Congratulations to Lynn Goggin for winning the Above and Beyond Award at West Education Center. She is the school nurse and was nominated in the in the Trauma-Responsive and Healing-Centered Practices,
Employee Well-being categories by her colleagues. 

Lynn is a warm, kind, invested school nurse who leads by example. She is inclusive, affirming, and encouraging.  She advocates for each individual student's needs. She cares for all as she would her own. She is curious, asks the hard questions, and always exhibits the desire to learn more. She is our go-to for first aid, emergency response, daily meds, and an empathetic place for students who are homesick or struggling with the day-to-day of being a teenager. But Lynn is more than a band-aid or ice pack for our staff and students. She is a critical member of the Incident Command team and part of our Health and Safety Team. Lynn serves on the WEC Wellness team and is always ready to support ideas and events that boost staff physical and mental health, wellness, and morale in the building. She is an exemplary nursing professional who goes beyond in her dedication to the physical and mental health needs of WEC students and staff.  

Lynn is above and beyond, and we are so proud of you.
