Please contribute to WEC's MakerSpace. What is a MakerSpace you might ask? A MakerSpace is a collaborative space that puts an emphasis is on hands-on learning by creating. STEM education (science, technologly, engineering, math) has been quick to embrace the spaces but they are not limited only to STEM areas. MakerSpaces are for students to focus on creativity, find do-it-yourself solutions, and tinker around. They include legos, woodworking tools, hot glue guns, whiteboards, 3D printers, vinyl cutters, multimedia labs, and more! WEC's MakerSpace will actually be a few spaces including the wood shop, multimedia lab, and maker lab.MakerSpaces need a lot of "stuff". Please consider donating anything we could use such as craft supplies and electronics or help support us by donating on our DonorsChoose webpage. For a limited time if you enter promo code "INSPIRE", Donorschoose will match your donation dollar for dollar.
