VECTOR and InVEST Transition

Special education transition program for students, ages 18 -21. Currently, 87 students are enrolled.

Provides post-secondary, employment and independent-living instruction that students need to prepare for independence in their community. Extensive individualized and comprehensive transition curriculum is used. Students also focus on social communication and emotional well-being. Students have a variety of needs that require special education services as well as other support services on a consult basis. The students’ districts hold their diplomas until completion of the program. Students exit the program with many independent skills; most live on their own, move about their community, and have competitive paying jobs.
