The mission of Intersect is to prepare students for success in adult life by facilitating generalization of skills into natural environments and providing individualized instruction in the three transition areas: employment, preparing for/accessing postsecondary education/training, and living independently. Students are provided with opportunities to increase their skills in the areas of self-awareness, self-advocacy and personal responsibility.
