Teaching & Learning Department

“There is no system in the world or any school in the country that is better than its teachers. Teachers are the lifeblood of the success of schools.” Sir Ken Robinson (TED: How to escape education’s death valley)

We are preparing our students for a new frontier, one that includes jobs that do not even exist yet. We have transitioned from the traditional classroom to a future where learning is not limited to the inside of a classroom.

The Teaching & Learning Department is here to provide pedagogical training, technical support, and ongoing encouragement so that instructional staff can skillfully and strategically use technology with their students. We coach faculty on the why, what, how, and when to appropriately and effectively employ a variety of curriculum resources in their courses to have the greatest impact. We work with faculty to help students gain traditional skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and effective communication, and new skills such as information literacy, media literacy, and technology competence. If you have any questions or comments, please feel encouraged to contact one of us below.

We are here to serve you!

“What you're doing now, or have done in the past, need not determine what you can do next and in the future.” Sir Ken Robinson
