ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: Intermediate District 287 is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the West Education Center Renovations project located at 11140 Bren Road West, Minnetonka, MN 55343. Bidders will be solicited for single-prime Contractor.
Sealed bids for the West Education Center Renovations project at West Education Center, Intermediate District 287, will be received in accordance with the Bid Documents prepared by LHB, Inc., 701 Washington Avenue North, Suite 200, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55401.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of storefront window replacement, modifications to buttress walls, sealant and waterproofing, modifications to existing berms, and site improvements.
BID DATE AND DELIVERY OF BIDS: Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 local time on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at the District Office, Intermediate District 287, Attn: Nicole Quigley, 1820 Xenium Lane N, Plymouth, Minnesota 55441. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
PROCUREMENT OF DOCUMENTS: Bidding Documents will be available on Thursday, February 6, 2025, and may be reviewed at www.QuestCDN.com, Quest Project # 9508128. Bid Documents may be downloaded for a non-refundable charge of $22. Planholders that have downloaded the documents from QuestCDN will be notified via email as addenda are issued. PRE-BID WALKTHROUGH: A mandatory pre-bid walkthrough will occur at 3:30 pm local time on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at West Education Center, 11140 Bren Road West, Minnetonka, MN 55343.

TIME OF COMPLETION: Owner requires Completion of Contract Work as follows:
Substantial Completion: August 8, 2025
Final Completion: August 29, 2025
CONTRACTING REQUIREMENTS: Performance and Payment Bonds are applicable to this Project. The provisions of Minn. Stat. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids shall comply with the provisions of the statute.
WAGE DETERMINATION REQUIREMENTS: Minnesota prevailing wage statutes will apply to this Work.
OWNER’S RIGHTS: The Owner reserves the right to reject a bid which is in any way incomplete, irregular, or to waive informalities or irregularities in the bid received. The Owner also reserves the right to reject a bid that is within the Owner’s judgment to be in the Owner’s best interest.
