Emergency Communication

Intermediate District 287 cares deeply about the health, safety, and security of students, staff, and surrounding communities. District 287 uses Blackboard Connect Notification Service to help keep families/caregivers informed. This system allows the district and individual schools to contact families/caregivers via automated phone calls, text messages, and emails.

To receive automated phone calls, emails, or text messages, at the beginning of each school year please opt in during the annual verification process. In the event of an emergency, you will be contacted via email or text message (if you've chosen to opt in for District communications).

Notifications are sent to staff's cell phones and chromebooks via the RAPTOR system.
