Free Meals for All Children Ages 18 and Under

We are excited to serve your student(s) during Connected Learning, PLUS while we had been preparing for our normal meals model, we just received word this week that the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is allowing us to serve free breakfast and lunch to anyone in our school communities, 18 and under.  Children do not need to be enrolled in Intermediate District 287 to participate.  If your child is over 18 and enrolled in a program at one of our district schools, they also qualify for free meals.

We will have 5-day meal bundles available for pick up each Friday, at four of our schools.  Meals must be pre ordered a week ahead, utilizing the link below.  Please place a meal order weekly for each child in your household that you wish to receive meals for.

FREE MEALS ORDER FORM – Orders due by September 11th for pick up September 14th

If you were unable to place an order for meals the week of September 14-18th before the deadline, please email or call 763-550-7136 to see if we can add you to the list.

Now more than ever, it is so important that all of our families apply for Educational Benefits, whether you think you qualify or not. Our ability to serve free meals to all is set to expire on December 31, 2020 or sooner, depending on government funding. Students who qualify for educational benefits will continue to access free breakfast and lunch once these free meals expire. These same educational benefits also provide critical funding for our schools and district. We encourage all families to apply for educational benefits at

  • A new application is needed per family each year.
  • The income thresholds are higher than in some programs, so many families are surprised to find they DO qualify.

We look forward to serving your students! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us at 763-550-7136 or
