287’s New Superintendent – Marcy Doud

The Intermediate District 287 School Board is excited to formally recognize its incoming Superintendent, Marcy Doud.

“I pride myself in building strong, welcoming communities for students, staff, and families. The greatest thing we can do to support equitable learning environments is listen, build relationships, and allow a safe place where all voices can be heard,” incoming Superintendent Doud shared. “I’m excited to meet the District 287 community and understand your passions, struggles, and curiosities. I am truly honored to be your next Superintendent!”

Later this summer and into the fall we will organize opportunities for staff, families, students, member district leaders, and partners to meet Marcy.

As we’re previously shared, incoming Superintendent Doud has 25 years of experience in education, most recently as the Deputy Chief of Schools for Saint Paul Public Schools. She began her career in education as a special education teacher and has focused on unique students’ needs in her leadership roles. Marcy considers herself a lifelong learner of racial equity work.

Please join the District 287 community in welcoming incoming Superintendent Doud to our shared purpose of helping unique students thrive.
