Programs

CIP (Communication Interaction Program)

Provides a structured educational program for students with an educational label of Autism and others who benefit from a predictable and individualized program focusing on social skills and academics.

OPTIONS Elementary

Provides a structured educational program for students who struggle with self-regulation, academics and attendance, and who may also have poor social skills and difficulty with authority.

SAFE Student Addressing Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) through Education

Provides a structured educational program for students who have a medical diagnosis of FASD and need intensive, individualized educational and behavioral support throughout their day.

SUN (Students with Unique Needs)

SUN is an Intermediate District 287 program for Students with Unique Needs. It is a special education program focused on meeting the needs of students who have been identified with social, emotional, sensory and behavior needs. In addition, most SUN students have a cognitive and other health impairments. Instruction focuses on developing appropriate social, academic, functional, and transitional skills.

Invest

Provides programming for middle school and high school students who are identified as EBD with serious and persistent mental health diagnosis; students receive full day academic, social emotional and Transition curriculum to meet their needs with intensive supports/services provided for emotional and behavioral needs.

Options Middle

Provides a structured educational program for students who struggle with self-regulation, academics and attendance and who may also have poor social skills and difficulty with authority.

STRIVE (Skills Training with Responsibility, Interdependence and Vocational Education)

Provides elementary, middle, and high school students, who have needs in areas of DCD and EBD, with services in an instructional environment working on both interactions with others and development of functional skills. High School students also work in the three areas of Transition; Jobs and Job Training; Post-Secondary and Independent Living.
