We are rooting for "Young Ant", a 287 student who just returned from her Coast 2 Coast Live Tour. She placed 4th out of 60 contestants and is eligible to compete in the Miami Florida Tour this fall! Winning the championship would mean $25,000! Ant is a student at Northwest Tech Center! Go, Narwhals!

After losing her eyesight, a local teen has turned to rapping in an effort to inspire others facing difficult circumstances.

Antyenette Walker, a 19-year-old Northwest Tech Center student, lost the vision in her left eye at 12-years old. Six years later, optic atrophy quickly took the remaining sight in her right eye.

November 14-18: National School Psychology Week: Our 8 school psychologists work wonders! They provide many needed services to our students and help them to succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. They collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community for all students.
