Strive Transition

Strive Transition is an innovative, responsive and collaborative program designed to develop confident adults who understand and achieve their potential in Independent Living, Vocational, and Social Development while peacefully co-existing in a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

Skills Training with Responsibility, Interdependence and Vocational Education

STRIVE serves transition students with mild to moderate Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD), age 18 to 21 and are also diagnosed with mental health and/or emotional and behavioral disabilities. Instruction focuses on the three transition areas and social emotional learning and is provided both in the classroom and in the community. These students also have jobs, typically in community settings.
