News & Information
National Professional Secretaries Week was created in 1952 to recognize the importance and value of the position to a company or business. The name of this special week has changed and evolved over the past few decades. But, the importance of recognizing these vital individuals remains. New terms in use today are: "Administrative Professionals" and "Executive Admins". District 287 continues to honor the work of this vital team member, our Administrative Professionals.
We also honor this week all of the Facilities and Food Service Workers, and the Braillists.
Each day 58 Administrative Professionals at District 287 use more than 50 digital systems, programs, and tools to assist them with their work. Thank you Administrative Professionals for your vital work and support on behalf of the students we all serve.
Take a moment to thank the Administrative Professional on your team.
