School District Services
Intermediate District 287 is a consortium of 12 west metro school districts offering more than 120 programs and services specially designed to help meet the unique learning needs of member district students.
The member district and District 287 determine how to make each program available to their students. Some courses and programs are taught or managed by Intermediate District 287. Courses may be offered in school district buildings with District 287 itinerant instructors, such as Japanese World Language.
Programs such as the Minnesota Destination Imagination, an international problem solving competition for gifted and talented students, are managed by District 287.
