Below are some of the questions you may consider before you begin to assess of facilitate problem-solving strategies in students.
- Knows the end goal?
- Aware that a problem exists?
- Able to identify the problem?
- Attempts to problem solve?
- Chooses appropriate or acceptable option?
- Uses alternative strategies if necessary or chooses other options?
