PREP Center - Professional Development for Teachers

Professional Development > PREP Center

The Practical Resources for Education Professionals (PREP Center) is a professional development service that supports and directs the growth of professionals as they enter, continuously improve, and work toward mastery. To do this work the PREP Center forms strategic alliances with higher education, professional organizations and public and private agencies.

The 2009-2010 school year offers about 50 possible professional development opportunities for participants. These include conferences, workshops, retreats, networks, and learning communities. The participants can choose options within several content areas: Mentoring, Leadership, The Learning Brain, Conducting Professional Development, Teaching and Learning, and Special Education. Registrations are processed on line at the PREP Center website.

We invite you to visit our PREP Center website for more information regarding Intermediate School District 287 Professional Development services and programs.
